This was a maymay that I found on DriveTribe. I found it there because I put it there. I also made it, so there’s that.

Back in 7th grade we went on a field trip and my friend calls a J70 a Jeep, I ripped him a new one the whole trip to the museum.
Skip to today and he can now tell the difference between a ‘71 Beetle and a ‘72. I’ve taught him well.

Hopefully you hit him upside the head with a 10mm box wrench. That’s typically how you teach people to differentiate between Cruisers.

I would’ve, but it’s stuck in my friend’s Honda.

I’ve had my spark plug wrench fall into my cramped engine bay. Boy, that was fun. Had to lift the car so I could attempt to wiggle it out. Probably burned a thousand calories freeing it from the wishbone.

I would’ve called it quits and just go back inside and start Netflix and crying again.
But seriously, that shit’s the worst feeling ever. Just the feeling of impending doom as it falls into the abyss. Swear that little shit just laughs at me.

Which one’s worse, calling an FJ a Jeep, or calling a Defender a Jeep?

My wife often mistakes boxy off-road 4x4s for Jeeps. G wagens, hummers, Broncos. It will genuinely confuse me at times when she points out a ”Jeep” and I don’t see it. “Oh, THAT!? That’s not a Jeep, that’s a Hummer.”
